Shelly Barger

Shelly was born and raised on the Farm. She attended the Farm School K-1 and 5th grade, and then graduated from Lewis County High School. Shelly went on to earn her bachelor in Psychology and currently uses that degree employed as an evidence based home visitor who focuses on prenatal support, infant mental health, development, and healthy attachment at Healthier Beginnings through Centerstone.

Before finding her dream career, she worked at the farm school while pregnant with her son who is now a student at the Farm school. Shelly has served the school as a TFS board member since October of 2021. Shelly and her partner and their son live and garden on the Farm with their cat, Kitty Boy.
